The past several weeks have been quieter than usual on the WorldStakes Pulse feed, and today we wanted to take a moment to share why.

Recently, the WorldStakes community experienced the loss of someone who played an important role behind the scenes. Our advisor, Sameer, passed away unexpectedly. His perspective and belief in the mission helped guide early discussions around the direction and long-term impact of WorldStakes.

Moments like these remind us that behind every organization and every project are real people who shape its path. Out of respect for this moment, our team has taken additional time to reflect, regroup, and focus on thoughtful planning moving forward.

Despite the recent pause, the beginning of 2026 has already been meaningful for WorldStakes.

Throughout the first weeks of the year, the Pulse platform continued highlighting underreported situations and causes across multiple continents. Stories have ranged from urgent humanitarian concerns to initiatives improving access to resources and community support systems around the world.

These stories are the foundation of the WorldStakes mission — bringing visibility to moments that deserve attention but often receive little coverage from traditional outlets.

The response from readers and supporters has reinforced why this platform exists: awareness matters.

🤝 An Update on the First WorldStakes RoundTable

As many in the community know, we had originally planned to host the first WorldStakes RoundTable during the first quarter of 2026.

After careful discussion, we’ve decided to move the inaugural RoundTable to June (Q2).

The purpose of the RoundTable is to bring together partners, supporters, and community members for thoughtful conversation about global impact, media responsibility, and the future of awareness-driven storytelling. Taking additional time allows us to make sure the first gathering delivers the experience our community deserves.

Simply put, we want the first RoundTable to set the standard for everything that follows.
