Welcome to WorldStakes. These Terms & Conditions govern your participation in our sweepstakes. By entering any WorldStakes Season, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by the following terms. If you do not agree, you should not participate.
1. Eligibility
Participation in WorldStakes requires that you are at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry. The sweepstakes is open worldwide except where prohibited by local law. It is the sole responsibility of each entrant to ensure compliance with the laws of their jurisdiction. Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of WorldStakes are not permitted to participate.
2. Nature of the Sweepstakes
WorldStakes operates as a global sweepstakes. It is not a lottery, raffle, gambling platform, or game of chance tied to government agencies. Every entry is treated equally, and Champions (winners) are selected at random during a live broadcast. Entry into the sweepstakes is always voluntary, and no purchase is required to participate.
3. Methods of Entry
Participants may submit entries digitally through our official website, for which a small administrative fee applies. This option is designed to be more affordable than the cost of traditional mail. Participants may also enter for free by mailing a completed entry form to the official mailing address listed on the Support page of our website. Free entries must be received no later than Thursday at 8:00 PM (UTC) to be included in that week’s Season. Entries received after this deadline will automatically roll over into the following Season. All entries, whether digital or mailed, are final and non-refundable.
4. Seasons and Drawings
WorldStakes sweepstakes are organized into Seasons, each lasting one week. Every Season concludes with a Champion selected on Friday at 8:00 PM Coordinated Universal Time during a live broadcast accessible to the public. The subsequent Season begins immediately after, at 8:01 PM (UTC).
5. Notification and Prize Redemption
Winners will be notified by email, referred to as the Champion’s Email, which contains a secure portal for redeeming prizes. In cases where a portion of entry proceeds has been allocated to charitable causes, winners will receive an additional notice within seven (7) days outlining the charitable impact of their entry. Entrants outside the United States will receive prize payments via PayPal unless otherwise stated. If a Champion cannot accept payment through PayPal, WorldStakes will make reasonable efforts to identify an alternative method. However, if no reasonable solution can be agreed upon, WorldStakes is not liable or obligated to issue the prize.
6. Liability and Disputes
By participating, entrants agree that WorldStakes, its affiliates, directors, and employees shall not be held liable for technical issues, postal delays, miscommunications, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control that may affect entry or prize delivery. All disputes arising under these Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of [Insert Governing State/Region], without regard to conflict of law principles. Participants agree to resolve disputes individually, without resort to class action, and to binding arbitration if required by WorldStakes.
7. Transparency and Trust
WorldStakes is committed to transparency. All drawings are conducted live and made available for public viewing. Entry information is securely managed and never sold to third parties. We strive to ensure fairness and clarity for all participants, regardless of location or method of entry.
8. Payment Restrictions and Jurisdictional Compliance
By participating in this promotion, you acknowledge that certain payment restrictions may apply. If you are prohibited, banned, or otherwise restricted from using PayPal or other payment processors, you may be ineligible to receive the prize. In such cases, the prize proceeds may, at our sole discretion, be donated to a recognized charitable organization. It is your responsibility to ensure that participation in this promotion is lawful in your jurisdiction. We disclaim any liability for entries submitted in violation of local laws or regulations. Participation from regions or countries where this promotion is restricted or prohibited is strictly prohibited, and such entries will be void.
9. Publications and Editorial Content
WorldStakes operates editorial publications, including but not limited to news articles, Pulse features, partner spotlights, and impact coverage (“Publications”). All Publications are provided for informational and editorial purposes only. References to partners, brands, charitable initiatives, or third parties do not constitute endorsements, guarantees, or representations of outcomes unless expressly stated. WorldStakes reserves full editorial discretion over the creation, timing, placement, modification, or removal of any Publication.
10. Partner and Third-Party Submissions
Any materials, statements, logos, descriptions, or content submitted by partners or third parties for inclusion in WorldStakes Publications must be accurate, lawful, and owned or properly licensed by the submitting party. By submitting such materials, partners grant WorldStakes a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and distribute the content across its platforms. WorldStakes is not responsible for inaccuracies supplied by third parties and may edit submissions for clarity, length, or compliance without prior notice.
11. No Guaranteed Coverage or Performance
Inclusion in WorldStakes Publications does not guarantee traffic, visibility, media pickup, financial results, or any specific performance outcome. Editorial coverage is not advertising unless explicitly designated as such. WorldStakes makes no warranties regarding reach, impressions, search engine placement, or third-party platform distribution, including but not limited to Google News or other syndication services.
12. Publication Changes and Platform Availability
WorldStakes reserves the right to update, restructure, pause, or discontinue any Publication, distribution channel, or publishing format at any time. Availability of content on third-party platforms is subject to those platforms’ policies, algorithms, and approval processes, which are outside of WorldStakes’ control. WorldStakes shall not be held liable for delays, removals, or visibility changes resulting from third-party publishing platforms or technical issues.
By entering WorldStakes, you affirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. These terms may be updated periodically, and continued participation constitutes acceptance of any revisions.
